The Crexent Business Centers Keep the Fort Lauderdale Community in Mind
February 09, 2004
February 9, 2004 - Ft. Lauderdale, Florida - With four fully functioning locations, one opening soon, and two more in development, The Crexent™ Business Centers strive to keep a community's best interests in mind while growing the business.
The partners of The Crexent Business Centers meet the needs of local professionals while encouraging community development. Vacant for over two years and slated for possible demolition, the Crexent Business Center in Ft. Lauderdale brought life back to the historic Commonwealth Building. Built in the late 1960s with no air conditioning and only one staircase, the Commonwealth Building could not be built today under current standards. The managing partners of The Crexent Business Centers were required to make numerous improvements to ensure compliance with current codes and completely redesigned the interior to enhance the professional atmosphere. While some might have felt it easier to knock down and start from scratch, it was important to the partners to maintain the Commonwealth for its historic value.
The Crexent Business Center at 2881 Oakland Park Boulevard is now home to financial planners, attorneys and other professionals. The fourth Crexent location, The Ft. Lauderdale facility is 18,620 square feet, features 60 office suites and provides professionals office space close to where they live with the convenience of access to major highways and downtown centers. A Ft. Lauderdale location made perfect sense to the managing partners and revitalizing a historic building was in-line with their corporate philosophy - striking the balance among personal, professional and community development.
Having built from the ground up in Davie, and gave new life to existing buildings in Pembroke Pines, Ft. Lauderdale, Miami Lakes and Bonita Springs, the Crexent carefully considers and best serves the needs of south Florida communities.
The Crexent Business Centers are fully serviced, fully furnished office resources that provide professionals with all the support a new business, satellite office or corporate headquarters could need.
